There have been significant advances to equipment recently, resulting in smaller quieter more efficient systems which can be applied to buildings where previously plant size, system limitations and cost were prohibitive.
Massive chillers, cooling towers and packaged roof top plant are no longer required to serve high rise buildings - the latest VRV systems are smaller and can handle pipework spans of upto 150 mtrs.
Indoor units can be concealed completely or set neatly into a suspended ceiling, utilising unwanted space.
